Hi, welcome to The Riley Roost! I’m Lindsey, the gal behind the sourdough microbakery. I fell through the wardrobe of the sourdough world as I learned more about the toxic ingredients in most conventional food products, or rather, ultra-processed food-like substances. (Did you know the average loaf of store-bought bread contains over 17 ingredients?!)

Craving real, whole foods that taste good and are good FOR you, I learned to make sourdough bread in 2020. I was hooked! Sourdough has a lower glycemic index, is easier to digest, and undergoes natural fermentation. I quickly joined the real food revolution!

Now, I take my passion for superior foodstuffs and create delicious sourdough baked goods for y’all!

I firmly believe that real food has the power to transform health. This is why quality ingredients (organic whenever possible) are so important to me. Sourdough consists of just three simple ingredients: flour, water, and salt. There are no garbage preservatives, stabilizers, or artificial nonsense here!

Lindsey Riley is passionate about how real food can transform health and is thrilled to bring exceptional sourdough products to her community.

When Lindsey is not baking ALL THE BREAD, she can usually be found:

  • Walking her fur babies, Buddy and Lady (she is a proud dog mom!)

  • Reading the latest book on her TBR pile (typically either a fantasy romance novel or the latest non-fiction piece on metabolic health)

  • Enjoying a cup of coffee or a glass of wine with her honey
